Its author is Javad Isfahani and, based on a reference in the text, this critique appears to have been written during the reign of the Qajar Muzaffar al-Din Shah. Unique and extremely interesting of its kind, its subject matter is criticism and censure of naqqali (in the broad sense of narration). The author, on the basis of certain reasons, has set to denounce the art of narration at a time when it was enjoying one of its most flourishing phases. In the present article the text of the first section of Javad Isfahani's treatise is redacted, and then some of the significant points and references in the text, regarding story-telling, are highlighted and examined. Such things as the reasons for the author's disapproval of story-telling, the description of one of the story-tellers of the Qajarid times, the development of story-telling from Mo'aviyeh's days on, the passion of audiences for stories and their interest in story-teller's personalities, the reason for leaving a story unfinished in narrating practice, the daily income of one of the story-tellers of the city of Sabzevar in the Qajarid times, the significance of the phrase “Cheragh Allah” (the lamp/light of God) in the jargon of story-tellers, and finally the tale of Abu al-Qasem Gorgani and Firdowsi.}, keywords = {}, title_fa = {رساله‌ای در نقد نقّالی از دورۀ قاجاری}, abstract_fa = {در کتابخانۀ مجلس نسخه‌ای به شمارۀ 13415 وجود دارد که بخش نخست آن در بارۀ نقّالی است. نویسندۀ این رساله جواد اصفهانی نام دارد و بنابر قرینه‌ای که از خود متن به دست میآید، آن را در دورۀ سلطنت مظفرالدین شاه قاجار نوشته است. موضوع این رساله نقد و نکوهش نقّالی (در معنای عام داستانگزاری) است و نویسنده به استناد دلایلی، در یکی از ادوارِ اوجِ رونقِ نقّالی به رد و انکار این فن پرداخته که در نوع خود کم‌نظیر و بسیار جالب است. در این مقاله، متنِ بخش اول رسالۀ جواد اصفهانی، تصحیح و سپس برخی نکات و اشاراتِ مهم آن در بارۀ نقّالی استخراج و بررسی شده است. موضوعاتی نظیر علل مخالفت نویسنده با داستانگویی، معرفی یکی از نقّالان عصر قاجار، شیوع داستانگزاری از دورۀ معاویه به بعد، دلبستگی شنوندگان به داستان‌ها و شخصیت‌های نقّالی، ناتمام گذاشتن داستان در آداب نقّالی، درآمد روزانۀ یکی از نقّالان در شهر سبزوار در عصر قاجار، ترکیب «چراغ اللّه» در اصطلاحات داستانگویان و افسانۀ ابوالقاسم کرگانی و فردوسی.}, keywords_fa = {نقّالی,نقد نقّالی,جواد اصفهانی,میرزا احمد شیرازی,دورۀ قاجار}, url = {http://www.am-journal.ir/article_46779.html}, eprint = {http://www.am-journal.ir/article_46779_f5f42e84d362b8f3cb15c077aa6e880b.pdf} }
